Die neunte Woche in der Werkstatt – The ninth week in the workshop

Ich habe an meinem Abschlussstück weitergearbeitet und die Kette fertig gestellt.

I continued working on my final piece and finished the necklace.

Nachdem ich die Rohrabschnitte entfernt hatte, bohrte ich Löcher ins obere Ende jedes Rohres. Dort wird später der Draht durchgeführt.

After I had removed those parts, drilled holes through the top of each tube. Later there will be the wire.

Als Farbe entschied ich mich für dunkles bordeaux und emaillierte dann die Rohrabschnitte.

I chose dark bordeaux as a colour and then I enamelled the parts of the tubes.

Nachdem ich die emaillierten Stellen nochmals bearbeitet hatte und die Rohre poliert hatte, stellte ich ein weiteres Rohr her. Davon trennte ich dann zehn jeweils 4 mm lange Stücke ab, die dann die Abstandhalter zwischen den Rohren sind.

Dann fädelte ich alles auf und bog den Verschluss.
Und die Kette ist fertig!

After I had worked on the enamelled parts again and I had polished the tubes, I made another tube. I separated ten pieces à 4 mm, which will be the spacers between the tubes.

Then I threaded everything on the wire and made the lock.

And the necklace is done!
